Louise Irene Swanson Bonham, born on September 5, 1910, in Blossom, Texas, lived a long life shaped by both family and personal challenges. She grew up in the Haskell County area of Oklahoma, the daughter of a French immigrant, and had three sisters. In 1935, she married Robert Degen Bonham, and together they had one son, who tragically passed away in 1956. Louise herself spent time at Eastern State Mental Hospital in 1950, reflecting a life that faced hardships alongside its milestones.
